How CourtHop checks courts and events
What “visitor access checked” means
When CourtHop marks visitor access as checked, the facility's or its operator's page confirms that visitors can play there. For each court, CourtHop keeps the page it read, how visitors get on (public, guest pass or resort guest) and the day it read that page.
What is read, and when
How visitors get on and the court facts come from the facility's or its operator's page, with the day it was read. Times and prices are not kept: check them on the venue's site. If the page does not say, CourtHop leaves the item blank rather than guess. Event dates are the dates on the organiser's page, with the day it was read.
Last checked
Each court page and each event shows the day CourtHop last read its source. That is not a promise nothing has changed since. Last checked is the latest day we checked any information about this court against an official or operator source; not every fact was necessarily checked that day.
Climate
Climate on a guide uses NOAA 1991–2020 normals from the representative station recorded for that destination. CourtHop labels each month from NOAA's 1991–2020 normals: Hot when the average daytime high is above 85°F, Cold below 60°F, Mild in between. Wet is an extra label for months averaging 14 or more days with at least 0.01 in of precipitation. The trip plan's typical high uses the same normals: a monthly average, not a forecast.
When a source disagrees or a fact cannot be confirmed
The organiser's or facility's own current page is the one CourtHop follows. If a fact cannot be confirmed, it is left out. An event that has ended or been cancelled is removed from current event lists, but its record is retained. An event whose organiser has not published a city stays off until it does.
